A bottle. High 15 cm. Wide 6,5 cm. Deep 5,5 cm. Opaline glass with cold enamel painting showing flowers and a heart flanked by two pigeons. In mint condition, no damages or loss of paint. On the bottom a clear pontil is present. This type of bottle was produced throughout the eightteenth century in Bohemia. Use of opaline glass, as in this case, is extremely rare. The bottle also has its original screw on top lid. The symbolic use of a heart and two doves suggest that this bottle was a wedding present. It was made around c1750.
