Spectacular Triptych formed by a couple of Lions of St. Mark in royal yellow marble, carved from a single block and a single lion in royal yellow marble in the round, also carved from a single block. Works coming from a Venetian villa in Venice. They were used as overlays, 19th century period. The lions are of sublime quality, they are depicted with the open book (the larger ones), with the open book means that in that period the city was in time of peace, while the one in the round with the sword and the book. The works are of medium size, proportionate and low weight. Perfect as pieces of furniture, knick-knacks, or even as overlays. Remarkable care of anatomy and precision of detail. Exclusive lot, unique in its kind. Of fantastic quality, have an enviable patina, the veining of the marble is extraordinary. Lot more unique than rare, exclusive and refined, original triptych. The added value is the presence of the central lion in the round, although it is small in size has an anatomical definition out of the ordinary. They are in excellent condition, undamaged.
