Spectacular Bronze Mercury God, from a model by Giambologna (1529 - 1608), lost wax casting. Dating from the late 19th century/early 20th century, from Venice, private collection. Magnificent patina of the metal, unobtainable in these sizes, exclusive. Large and generous size, well-proportioned and appropriate weight. It lends itself easily as a piece of furniture, will not go unnoticed. Object of remarkable workmanship and quality, to emphasize the care and precision of the details and anatomy of the God.
