Berthoud alabaster and gilt bronze portrait bust, possibly of Sarah Bernhardt, the head finely carved marble full of expression, the shoulders and base cast of gilt bronze. In the Art Nouveau Style. Signed by the artist, "Berthoud". (Paul Francois Berthoud, 1870-1939 France). Exhibited at the Salon D'Automne and the Salon des Artistes Francais in Paris. Dimensions: H42 xx W22 x D25 cm. In good original condition.

Unusual Console Table Freestanding in carved and polychromed wood. Nice details in the carved Fern Plants, a landing Eagle attacking a Bear Cub. The top shaped as a shell. On the four corners of the base tortoise shaped feet. Manufactured probably in Austria or North Italy, second part of the 19th Century.
In good original condition.
