Set of 40 early 20th century black Bakelite crystal models with white edges. These crystal models used to be used as teaching material at school, to show students the difference in crystal shapes. Crystals are commonly recognised by their shape, consisting of flat faces with sharp angles. Now these Bakelite shapes make very pretty decoration, you could hang them (they have little holes in which an eye for hanging would fit) by a thread or stack them one on top of the other.. Sizes vary; the largest is 31cm x 16cm x 8cm (12.2"x 6.3"x 3.2") the smallest is 16cm x 15cm x 17cm (6.3"x 5.9"x 6.7").
