# 62 Bernheim Romon style, bock section, Middle Rhíne, :3/4 15th  Century, 112 cm /l5,3cm, Lined ond interlined port of o romon chosuble, in red velvet odorned with on embroidered cross. Executed ín a typicol fine technigue with a large voriotion of silk threods on o linen bockground. Morvellous museol ort piece in good conditíon. However loss of threods in exposed oeries. * VALUE RELATED INFO. @ 62 Christies Kensington 11 June 1996 3000-6000 GB Pounds Cat.: # 4 "the back of a chasuble of plain crimson velvet the orphrey embroidered with the Crucifixion, tllary and Sf.lohn, and possibly ,ïudas. The orphrey has been cut and the arms of the cross are fragments from a similar orphrey - ( fhe Phine, third guarter of the 15* Cent.(worn) Comm.: opparently unsold.. it wos one of the top pieces of the Collection.
